Greetings everyone! I just received my acceptance letter to UTA for the AGACNP program!! I created this thread so others who applied and who were accepted can communicate with each other, as well as those who are in the program or have completed the program.

A little about me, I am the Acute Care Director at a rural hospital in Texas. I've been nursing for just over 5 years now.

Hi,

I am also starting UTAs ACNP program in Spring 2020. I started this program at Walden University (for 2 quarters) and decided to switch to UTA, because I think that will give me an advantage.

Anyway, I am in Austin, I just moved here from CA 6 weeks ago. I am a helicopter Flight Nurse with 14 years of trauma ICU/ED experience.

I found a FB page for UTA MSN students that you might want to join. I was hoping there was a FB page for AGACNP students, so we could all communicate together, but I haven't found one yet.
