Has anyone taken the research class?? I am taking it next month. Any advice??

THanks

Considering all previous threads, advices and that I work fulltime, I might drop holistic care of older people and take only just research, it just sucks get behind 5 more weeks; also I hope I won’t be a detriment to my group because English is my second language and usually write APA style is not my forte, thanks for the tips and hopefully I nailed this course fast.

I was going to double it up with Vulnerable Populations, but opted not to. And having completed both courses, I am honestly glad I decided to take Research alone even though it pushed my graduation date back...and I'm good at both English and APA.

Vul. Pops was not too bad. I got an A and work full time and a mom of two teenagers. I thought that it was ok.

I took holistic care 10 weeks ago I wouldn't advise together not that holistic is real hard but nursing research seems to be a pain

I am in this class. Currently printing out the syllabus as I type ;-)

I'm suppose to start 11/4 research and holistic care of older adult can be done??[/quote']

I did vulnerable and health promotion and had no problem. Holistic care of the adult was easy too. Just get ahead on the week 2 assignment in vulnerable because that was the most time consuming paper I did (even more time consuming than any health assessment assignment). Vulnerable was only bad for week 2. I felt the rest of it was very doable.

I meant my above post in response to what else to take with vulnerable. I haven't taken research yet but I fully intend to take it alone - and I'm someone who double and triples up on courses at all times with little problem (and I work 50-60hrs/week, maintain a social life...but I don't have kids yet!)

Don't forget OOH (online office hours) is tomorrow at 1000 cst!

Thanks for all the suggestions
