Yes! I like the idea of forming a support group, Facebook page and anything else that will help! I received an email this evening from the degree plan evaluator stating she received my acceptance confirmation and will be sending me the degree plan shortly. I will contact her to make sure this updates the MyMav status as well.

congrats RN! have you selected your degree plan yet? Will you be taking one or two classes at a time?
Hi Branden...I haven't selected a degree plan yet. I received a phone call from Kim Kephart who is my enrollment advisor and she said I needed to call my academic advisor to request my degree plan. I will only be able to take one class at a time since I need to work full time. What about you?
Yes, I am in the same boat as yourself. I will be taking one class at at time, but I am concerned about the accelerated 5 and 10 week classes. Have you heard or know anyone who has gone through the program and worked full time? Many people say it's doable but, they are speaking about traditional long semester schedules and not accelerated programs.
I don't know anyone personally who has gone through this program. I completed my BSN through UTA with essentially the same 5 or 10 week format. It was fast paced but easily doable while working full time. The FNP program will be much more intensive but I work 4 10's in an outpatient clinic so I'm hoping my one day off will help ease the burden!
So three ten hour shifts a week? that's seems very manageable. I will be doing 3 12's until at least August when I can move to an apartment with lower rent. My biggest concern will be patho working full time.
btw if you're on Facebook and interested another student and I have created a fb support page.
I'm interested! What is the name of the Facebook page? I'll try to find it. I am actually working four 10 hour shifts per week with one day off but I'm hoping this is doable!
