UTA BSN Admissions

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

I have yet to submit my application. All I have left next semester is Pharm, a nursing elective and Tx Government. I have a 3.81 overall and 3.8 science GPA and 30+hours at UTA.

Are applicants reviewed holistically or is it rolling admissions and as spots fill with qualified applicants, the remainder are waitlisted? I am worried that waiting this long that I will be waitlisted even though the deadline is in January. I have been told by a few (who knows if they are right) that I should have applied earlier if I wanted a spot for Fall 2019. Starting to get anxious about this.

Hey, I just got into UTA's nursing program. When you apply (as long as its before Jan deadline) has nothing to do with acceptance or waitlisting. Just take those classes this spring. It sounds like you've done all of your sciences and Patho so you should be good, your stats also look great so don't worry! It is basically based off of GPA and considerations so you will do great. They call people off the waitlist like up until a week or two before class so there is a lot of opportunity to get in! You've got this!
