UT Tyler Summer 2021

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a topic for UT Tyler's Summer 2021 BSN admission cycle. What are your stats? I will post mine below.

TEAS: 88.7

Science GPA: 3.5

*I still need to take CHEM & Nutrition.

Pre-Req GPA: 3.7

Overall: ~3.7

I have worked as a patient care tech at Baylor Scott & White since August 2020.

Hey everyone,

My total with video is 74! my stats aren’t that great but I wanted to finally join a chat feed. This is my 3 time applying FYI ?! I spoke with an advisor on Friday and she advised me to apply to the Longview location and to put them as my first choice because they like to see “ loyal students”  this honestly kinda shocked me because I thought it was all basically the same! Anyway I took her advise and she also said Summer the score requirements are lower! I know last admission the cut off average was 84% according to my advisor. Anyway nice to meet everyone and good luck!?

Hey guys!
I am also applying for Summer 2021, just currently enrolled in Patho with 79 points total. I do not know which campus to apply for I really want Tyler campus, but I do not know the minimum amount of points accepted for the Summer cycle. With my points I think I have a better chance at Longview campus. At this point it really does not matter which campus I get accepted too, I’m just ready to start somewhere.

hey stats seem pretty good! I spoke with an advisor and she told me that if I applies to Longview it’s more thank likely I’ll get in. I don’t know how true that is and why she was telling me this info but I took my chances. You have a really good score I think you will be just fine!

Thank you. Your scores are good as well. I believe we’ll get accepted. If you do, will you be staying on campus in Tyler or will you find an apartment in Longview?

Well currently I’m staying on campus but I didn’t know if Longview had housing or not. But if not I did consider commuting or maybe getting an of campus apartment?

I hated that Longview didn’t let us have like a second choice as a backup plan ? but I really hope that the advisor was right. It was they she was saying it. Like she already knew.... oh well LOL can’t change it now??

I was thinking the same thing, I might just stay in Liberty landing and commute. But IDK? LOL yeah to late to change, and I hope she was right that we do get accepted.

Do you know how many Longview accepts?

Wait did you also choose Longview? And I’m also at liberty! I heard the first semester is online! The crazy thing is I’ve already taken majority of my first semester courses for nursing. Because I’ve been enrolled in a previous program before this one. Ugh I just hope this time is my time !

And no I have no idea

Yes I did apply to Longview, I’m currently only taking Pathophysiology! Every other class is complete LOL, I’m just waiting on a email/letter that I am accepted. I do not stay at Liberty right now I am currently at home, I used to stay in Victory Village until we had to move out last year due to COVID!

what other nursing program did you go too if you don’t mind me asking?

Barry university, it was a private school out in Miami.

Are you currently taking any classes?

Right now I opted to due like a bachelor complete program since I have so many credit as a plan b. Cause nursing had taken me into so many turns and loops but I remain hopeful.
