UT Tyler BSN Spring 2020

Published

Hi y’all! I’m applying for the traditional BSN at UT Tyler for spring 2020. I haven’t seen many posts about this school so I wanted to see if anyone was applying and what your stats were. Good luck!

That's great you are pursuing another bachelor's degree. Good luck today on our test, I'll be sitting in the back today. I have to leave early and don't want to interrupt class

We got replies today, how did it go for you?

Accepted to Palestine Campus! ??

Did you all hear back? Not sure if all campus’ notify at same time.

I got accepted! Tyler campus! Congrats Nurse2B1! How about you Jen?

Congrats both of y’all, I didn’t get in ?

I did not get in my 1sttime applying. I encourage you to finish your pre reqs and reapply next semester. You will get there, don’t get discouraged. I have also heard that the main campus at Tyler has the most applicants and is the hardest to get in. Remember there are 2 other campuses to choose from.

Keep pushing, your time is coming.??

Yes! I agree, apply again! Also TJC does offer a concurrent program with UT where you graduate with an ADN from TJC and A BSN from UT, apply to both in the Spring. They take note of those that reapply and see it as a serious commitment.

I didn’t get accepted either. For the people that did get accepted, do you mind telling us your stats?

Thank you so much I will, luckily there’s a summer semester now so I don’t have to wait till fall

@Madison Link My stats are in this thread already as well as another's, and like I mentioned to Jen, Apply again! It is a challenge but don't give up!

Hi! I am taking Patho at the Longview campus in the summer before I apply for the Fall BSN program! Any tips?

@HayHay read the book, utilize the notes given, and remember patho is taking everything you've learned in A&P, micro, and chem and pulling it together. I like watching Registered nurse RN on YouTube as well. For a small breakdown lecture on specifics. Good luck!
