Creating a thread for those who applied to UT Southwestern's February 2026 start date cohort.

I'm starting to feel so nervous! I saw in DFW Nurses that someone heard back last Friday with an offer from SICU. Does that mean we didn't get the job if we haven't heard anything yet?

I saw that too. I don't think so, I was told that we should hear something this week. I think maybe your preferences also a role in receiving a call back. Maybe SICU finalized their applicants first and etc. So you never know.  Give it till the end of this week., Stay positive, I am LOL

I would like to chime in and say that I'm also under the impression that offer letters would go out this week. During the process I was asked to choose dates from last week and the week before that for a time slot so I'm assuming they wrapped up interviews last Friday. 
 

in any case, the job market is absolutely cooked right now and that applies to fields across the board!

hey did u do your interview on the 1st or 2nd? && which ICU did u choose?

Did not interview for the ICU, it was for another specialty but I figure interviews would be held around the same time
