Nutritionursing18 Aug 1, 2020 I believe they first look at all the applications and they pick around 130-140 students for an interview. And after that they will send acceptance letters. I’m not exactly sure when they send interviews/acceptance letters! I just hope we can all get in 🙏🏼❤️ 0 Likes
Betty Price Aug 3, 2020 I am so excited! I’m so grateful for this experience. I’m sure almost all of us will get in ❤️. 0 Likes

I'm not sure if there will be a delay this time around since they waived the TEAS. I'm so nervous to hear back, UTHSC is my top choice. Do yall know the types of questions they ask during the interviews? I looked around and I can't find anything 1 Likes

Do y’all know if this semester will be more competitive given the fact that the TEAS was not required? From previous threads, I have heard that they are simple questions such as; about yourself, questions in how to handle situations etc. I’ll try and see if I can find something. But regardless they say that you will be able to skim through it & practice before recording yourself. 0 Likes
bdxoxo Aug 5, 2020 I'm more than positive there are more people that applied than usual. More people don't want to enter the field anymore due to the pandemic, so schools have been lowering their standards and extending deadlines. UTMB extended their app deadline 2 or 3 times and now there's over 1,500 applicants (700 more than usual). I'm pretty sure the applicant pool at UTH-SA is in the 500-700 range 🙄Hopefully, we do hear back around September and October, there might be a delay due to the pandemic.Thank you for letting me know about the interviews! I thought it would be set up to where you would have to answer questions on the spot. Takes the stress away knowing I can at least practice before recording and sending it off 0 Likes

Betty Price Aug 19, 2020 Hey Ladies I called the school today and the lady who answered told me it will take a minimum of three months to hear back bc of covid. Of course I'm still going to check my emails. I just want to make sure you all are not dissapointed if we don't hear back from them next month. I will call again to confirm.:) 1 Likes

m00n Sep 8, 2020 Hi all!! I’m so glad I found this thread because I’ve been nervously checking my email every day! I’ve also applied for the Spring 2021 cohort. I have an overall GPA of 3.9 and a prerequisite GPA of 3.9 as well. I have my associates in biology and I began volunteering at my neighborhood hospital in November of last year, but that was unfortunately cut short early this year due to COVID-19 so I didn’t get as many hours as I wanted to. I do have a lot of volunteer hours from school events though so I hope that helps! Good luck to you all! <3 0 Likes
