USMC awards and USAF uniforms ?

Planning on joining USAF nursing in spring or so (whenever life gets outa my way!) and I'm curious as to how my USMC enlisted medals & ribbons are to be incorporated into a USAF uniform. Most are Navy/USMC specific and do not come on the standard listing of USAF medals awards and how to place them.

Any one w/ experience on this? I got a NAM,NUC,GC w/ star etc.

Oooh Rah... or whatever they say in the AF...

Why USAF and not the NAVY nurse corps?

USAF vs. USN... I have a family and don't relish the 6+ month sea deployments nor will I ever, ever want to be on a ship for any real period of time.. I'm 6'2" and I remember the low hatchways all to well... USAF deployment routines seem preferable as do their bases and other such amenities available to them...

Oh, *chuckle*, that make sense. USAF does seem like the perfect fit for you.
