USF (South Florida) MSN-FNP Fall of 2022

Hey! I haven't seen a thread for this yet so I wanted to start one! I wanted to open up the platform for potential, current, and former students that attended the University of South Florida for any type of MSN/DNP program. I was just recently accepted into USF's MSN-FNP program for the Fall of 2022 and I wanted to know any tips for success in the program. Books that helped, must need supplies, study tips, etc...

Congratulations! I applied for the acute care nurse practitioner program. My interview is this week. What kind of questions do they ask you on the interview?

Congratulations! The questions were very straightforward and it was pretty informal. They asked me why I chose FNP, where do I see myself working, & then two scenario based questions. It was super comfortable & made me feel relaxed! It was like talking to a friend. You got this!

First of all, Congratulations for those who are accepted and my prayers for those who are still waiting for an a decision. I just  applied for the for MSN  acute care part time Track.  My Nursingcas says "verified". Finger crossed.

Yes I do! I plan to still work so we’ll see how it goes. I’m hoping since it’s part time it should be manageable but I’m willing to drop down to PRN if need be.

Congratulations, I just had my interview. How long it took after the interview to find out? how do we find out?
