They are scheduling them for the 20, 21, and 22nd.

Yup - got my interview email about about 11:00 this morning.

I didn't fully expect I'd even get an interview, so I'm pretty happy about that!

Aww congrats guys!!! Y'all better kill that interview

I got my interview too, good luck guys!!

received my interview email early this morning as well! :D congrats guys! wishing you all the best of luck when your interview day arrives.

out of curiosity, does anyone know of any good online resources to maybe help prepare for the interview when it comes to what kind of questions they may ask? i know they'll ask one or two personal questions, but i know they will ask an ethical and/or situational one as well. having a couple examples will be a huge help.

why do you want to be a nurse, they asked an ethical question, what qualities do you posses over another student, but im pretty sure they are gonna change the questions for the fall group. My interview was on monday and i got the results on friday.
so how did you practice for the ethical portion of the interview?

Can you practice for an ethical question? Isn't that all sort of based on beliefs and how you would personally react?

On USF's page, they said you should/could use your responses to the old essay questions as guidance. I think the question was something about a nurse who secretly told you she didn't do some care aspect (bed bath maybe?) for a patient b/c she thought it was gross. Then the instructor came and asked about that care item, the student lied and said she did it, even the xyz. How would you handle that situation.

Although, I did find this on a quick google search.

Yea i guess youre right. I had an advising appointment with them and he gave me the example of "if you had a pregnant woman smoking a cigarette on your floor, what would you do?" i was just wondering if there was sample questions i could practice or what to do to prepare for questions like that :)

Aww congrats guys!!! Y'all better kill that interview

You've been through the process.

The interview sounds pretty basic.

What kind of dress do they expect - suit & tie? Just a tie? No tie? Business casual?

They don't really say anywhere - I don't want to be the guy who way overdresses/underdresses.

Ohitsfarrah, I imagine that if we contemplate the cigarette question and others like it we will be good. I find the cigarette question harder than the one I posited. I've been trying to thing about it, and to come up with a basic philosophy about patient interactions and where I stand on different issues. I think it all comes down to my personal belief system about how people should be treated and what my job, and my goals, are as a nurse.

What day are you guys interviewing? Panel?
