Hey guys! I found out Tuesday that I got an interview for USF's CRNA program. Anybody else out there?! I'm terrified, but excited for the opportunity. Best of luck to us all!!!

Congratulations, I had a feeling you would be hearing something soon.
Thank you! Did anyone make a Facebook page for our class?

Just wondering if any of you that got into the program would mind sharing your stats? Also how much volunteering have you done? Thanks
I have volunteered at Camp Boggy Creek, which is a camp for chronically and terminally ill children, as a camp counselor. I work in the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery ICU at Shands at UF Health and have worked there for 2 years and I am a preceptor for new nurses. GPA is 3.9, CCRN, and GRE score of 310 combined verbal and quantitative. I hope this is helpful to you. Are you applying?
1 year 7 months in (level-1 trauma hospital) Neuro ICU, but we get lots of off-service patients like MICU and Trauma. CCRN. GRE: 155 verbal, 158 quant (313 total), 4 writing.
The only volunteering I have is a little over 2 years as an emergency medical responder on my college campus, 10-15 hrs/week per semester.
Thanks for sharing guys. I am considering applying before the deadline, but thinking of waiting until next year just to improve my chances of getting an interview at least. I've applied to two schools as of now and I know for sure I didn't get an interview for one and still waiting to hear back from the second [emoji52] I don't think I'm going to put anymore apps in this year because I don't want to get discouraged. I'm taking CCRN in February and have a little over one year SICU experience at a level 2 trauma center as of now and I'm considering retaking the GRE. I scored a 146 quant 150 verbal and 4 writing but it's not really competitive compared to others. My GPA is 3.48. USF is definitely my first choice though if I stay in FL. I'm lacking in volunteering though I haven't done any since my BSN :/
I made a group on fb for those who are going to USF, search "USF CRNA C/O 2018"
Brielle, definitely get that CCRN as many schools require it! And, I agree, take the GRE and try to get a 300+. I've been told that most schools look for 300 and up! Try Magoosh if you need a study aid.
Thanks ICUNole you are very right. Good luck in the program! Let us know how you like it once it starts! I would love to hear about your experience!
