I am not sure if I am posting this into the correct category, but I suppose this is a software issue.
Our ED currently uses a dry-erase board to manage patient flow and we have been looking into a system that is based on the internet (sorry for my lack of technical jargon). It is called Patient Trak and to run it, we apparently don't have to buy any new computers, can be running on it very quickly, and only pay a small fee per patient recorded. (so what do we have to lose, right???). But really, it sounds very promising for our facility since we have struggled to rid of our dry-erase board in the past and this looks like it may be THE solution.
Questions:
1. Is anyone familiar with this system?
2. If so, what has your experience with it been?
3. Have you "interfaced" it with any other in-house systems?
We are probably going to proceed with it, but any feedback/heads-up would be greatly appreciated!
