Usd (ca) mepn fall 2014 applicants

Published

Hi! I have yet to find any threads on the University of San Diego's MEPN '14 applicants. I submitted on the day of the deadline.... anyone else out there????

For anyone who is not yet in the Facebook group: I created a survey & spreadsheet that anyone who will be looking for a roommate or housemate can fill out to make it easier to coordinate living situations for the fall. When you join you'll see it on the news feed :)

Also..... has anyone's anxiety switched from "am I going to get into school??" to "HOW am I going to PAY for this?!?!?!" I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, and it's just hitting me pretty hard right now!

So thankful for this forum. Glad I have you guys to rant to & freak out with!! :roflmao:

Congratulations to all of you that were accepted into the program. For those who did not, do not let this stop you from pursuing your dream!!!!

do you guys know how many clinical hours we get by the time we graduate the program?

Med Surg - 284 Hours (spans 2 semesters)

Psych - 96 Hours

Peds - 96 Hours

L&D - 96 Hours

Community - 96 Hours

Leadership - 192 Hours

Internship -192 Hours

thanks!! do you mind me asking where you had gotten that information?

I'm currently a first year. :)

Hi everyone, I'm a hopeful USD student (applying in the fall) and I was curious about your stats for gaining acceptance (cum gpa, prereq gpa, work and volunteer experience etc.) I'm nervous to start the application process but really excited too! Thank you :)

Hey everyone!!!! You can find me on facebook too! [email protected] Can't wait to meet you all! :cat:

Yes! I found the USD MEPN 2016 Facebook group! Now someone approve my request to join! Lol  I am Kay LaLa on FB

Okay just paid my deposit! Is this real life?????? lol SO EXCITED!!!!!

@halliesf Don't be nervous! ;) My cum gpa was 3.96 and prereq gpa 4.0, 3 years of working as a medical assistant and biggest volunteer experience was a medical trip to Uganda. Also volunteered as a tutor at a local high school, at the Special Olympics when I was in Chico for undergrad, and some fundraisers for breast cancer research! Hope that helps! :)
