USAGPAN

I'm interested in what you guys did to get your direct commission and go straight to USAGPAN. I'm prior service wanting to get back into the army as a nurse. Have about 2 years ICU/ ED experience. Haven't taken my GRE yet, probably will by the end of this year. Did you guys apply to the school trying to get in and then contacting a healthcare recruiter for direct commissioning into the army?
