i was reading this one info about US student visas... it said that when applying and interviewing, you have to convince them that you don't plan to stay in the US to work, have to show strong ties to your country and convince them you'll be returning home after you graduate. With Nursing schools, wouldn't it be obvious that people plan to stay after finishing the nursing program?? Especially when you're coming from asian countries where nurses gets crappy salaries? so how are you supposed to convince them that you'll be coming back so that they'll grant you the student visa?

Well... Sometimes they don't even call you for the interview..
Moreover, you can even come and apply to take some ESL courses first and then apply to nursing school later. That's what many people do. It is hard to get accepted when you are out of country.. I guess.. and most of the time you have to pass general education courses and prerequisites before you can be accepted in nursing school.
May be you can just tell them.. that you come here to take English courses then will decide later what field you will go into later... that way they won't know that you are going to nursing school
But as I told you, sometimes, depending on the countries and your situation, they don't even call you for interview. So you won't be asked anything.
