Only RNs can become nurse corps officers. The Army did have some incentive programs for LPNs/LVNs when I looked into it a few years ago when I was getting my BSN.
The USAR is the only component that will allow ADNs direct commission into Nurse Corps. However, you must have BSN to be promotable to MAJ.
LPNs are enlisted with the 91WM6 MOS. Not sure what you mean by, "officer to be"? I'd advise an LPN-RN mobilty track civilian program, or a BSN program, then apply for direct commission into Army Nurse Corps. I've heard rumor of an Army LPN-RN program, yet unable to lead you to a credible source.
Good luck!
