Hey guys! Just interviewed with Ursuline today and wanted to start a thread to stay in touch and post updates! Goodluck to you all 🙂

I have 6 years ICU experience mainly in medical/trauma but I have been float pool at my current hospital for two years floating between different ICUs (medical, surgical/trauma, neuro, coronary care, TCV) as well as a resource nurse (like a rapid response RN that also does all conscious sedation and IR cases) for all floors in the hospital. I work at a trauma level 1. I have experience with CRRT, IABP, LVAD, EVD, etc. I have 11 years of military experience with 6 of those as an ICU RN in the Army Reserves. I have my CCRN and completed 10 hours of shadowing.
My overall undergrad GPA is a 3.64 and my nursing school GPA is 3.47. My stats and chemistry classes were taken in 2014/2015. My degrees are Associates in Pre-Nursing with a minor in Leadership and BSN.
This was my first year applying to Ursuline.
I am happy to answer any other questions you may have, and BEST OF LUCK! 🤞🏼
No no it's okay. I know I don't have the best stats. I know how this goes, another school operates in the same manner. I interviewed in early June LOL.
We have similar stats as far as clinical experience goes and I do all the same things plus I also work ED. I've been a nurse for 12 years. Your grades are better which I feel is my biggest "flaw" from an older academic history.
Congratulations again!! Your profile is great!!

Yes. It's just a clinical interview to go over your skill set and what clinical sites you would like. I was supposed to have mine a few minutes ago but the storms have caused the interviewee to lose power! They said it will not affect your admission status if you have already been accepted.

I haven't been accepted though LOL 😂
