psna supporting representative hasay's bill (hb 957) to ban mandatory overtime for licensed practical nurses and registered nurses.

let your voice be heard.

please notify your representative to support the passage of representative george hasay's (r-117th columbia, luzerne, wyoming) bill to ban mandatory overtime for lpn's and rn's.

with an amendment to revise the language that "a health care facility may not require a nurse to work in excess of 8 hours" vs. the current language of 12 hours.

there is to be a committee meeting tomorrow (tuesday, may 10) so the sooner you get to your representative, the better the outcome for our industry.
