When you question yourself and not sure of being ready for any exam, it is probably best to reschedule/postpone until you had a chance to regroup to focus. It's not so much the content-review, even.
The question is this: could you regroup yourself and focus on taking on this exam by this Friday? If yes, take it. If not, reschedule.
My condolences for your loss, and best of luck on your NCLEX-RN.
I am deeply sorry about your loss, I know how it feels to lose a loved one during stressful life events. My uncle had suddenly passed away from a pulmonary embolism, two weeks later my grandmother had passed away from a CVA, which was also unexpected. This was during my third semester of nursing school during finals. I was able to postpone my finals and attend the funeral services and be with my family (out of state). After a couple weeks, I returned back and was able to concentrate and focus again and did very well on my finals. Since your grandmother's loss was very recent, I would suggest postponing your NCLEX until you are able to concentrate and refocus again. Once you are able to do so you will most definitely pass the NCLEX. Best of luck, my prayers are with you and your family.
