Hi guys,
Its sue, I have been on for quite sometime, i have a lil dilemma i am down...very down..to the point of tears....i had enrolled with EC last year before the deadline...i am currently attending Helene fuld college of nursing..im taking their math/chem course you have to take BEFORE you take any nursing course...its only a year..its a school just for LPNs, here is the thing though..they have a REALLY retarded english exam that determines whether or not they would give you credit for the english classes you have ALREADY taken...you have to score a 2 or a 3 to get accepted into the program...if you score a 2 your accepted WITHOUT english credit...you must REPEAT these english classes...if you score a 3 you get your english credits transfered....you get to take the exam twice...well i did...i even had a tutoring session with one of the english instructors there...and took the exam 2nd time around and they still gave me a 2..EXTREME FRUSTRATION...now i know EC had some changes....im am discouraged to go to Helene yet im afraid of doing EC b/c my first exam NC 1 I got a D...i passed my boards two years ago with the min of 85 quest..held a 3.58 GPA in the LPN program..prepared well and ended up with a D..i couldnt beleive...and now im wondering if i should re-consider EC...anyone un-enrolled after Oct last year and RE-enrolled?...if so how are you doing now...i really need some advice and encouragement..i feel as though i have worked so hard to place myself in a good position and made so many sacrifices to become an RN as soon as i can...and i end up with a brick wall.......thanks guys...XoXo

Sue,
I graduated from Helene Fuld College of Nursing and trust me the english class is not bad at all. As a matter of fact that is the least of your problems. You can do it dont worry.
