UPMC Shadyside Questions

I just found out that i have been accepted into the March 09 class but have yet to get the package in the mail..seems to be lost... and since i have to wait it out til the 5th to see if it shows up i was wondering if anyone could answer a couple of questions for me.

1. does anyone know when the january new student orientation is?

2. does anyone know specifically what books are used for the nursing classes.. i found the ones for microbiology and A/P on the chatam website but i like to know as early as possible so i can find them as cheaply as possible.

3. what is with the clicker thing that you need for microbiology... never seen one of those before...lol

As far as the books go, why don't you call the school and ask them? I could tell you what books I just used for N100 and N101, which I think are the classes you will be taking first, but I'm not sure if they will be using the same books this semester. Sorry I can't be of more help.......not sure about your other two questions.

yes it is those nursing classes and the microbiology and the A/P for the first set. lol guess it never occured to me to just call and ask. i have just been bugging them so much i figured i would try to find out another way but you are probably right... lol

Let me know what books they want for your nursing classes. I might have them if they stay with the ones they used last semester.
