UPMC Saint Margaret

I am taking the PSB next week and hoping to pass. I want to start the Fall 2014 program at UPMC Saint Margaret. Is there any one else out there doing the same or already accepted?

i would love to apply for this fall, my sat scores are above what is asked for, so i would not have to take the psb. the problem is, i failed a math class 2 semesters ago so my gpa is not the greatest with that F wearing it down haha

Hey! Did anyone else receive the packet in the mail? I can't believe the program is only 16 months now! So many mixed emotions but all in all I think it's great and I am excited. I can't wait to see people on the 26th of June at the pre-admissions meeting! It is getting so close.

I just came across this thread.. I'm also accepted @ St. Margaret's for the fall and received the packet yesterday. When I took my PSB test in December, I remember them mentioning the change in curriculum but was very surprised to see that it is only 16 months! Looks like we will be the first class to try to out :) Dec 2015 graduation sounds pretty good though, haha. Just have to make it through first!

Hey guys, I also am starting St. Margaret's SON in the fall! I was very excited to see that the program is only 16 months now, but I'm wondering if that means the semesters will be more challenging. Is anyone else planning on working while in school?

Nice to see someone else on here! I am not planning on working, but do have a family. Hopefully it all works out for me not to work. The shorter program will help with that. I'm not sure if the semesters will be more intense or if they just cut out a lot of time between semesters. I like only having a week off. Enough time to catch our breath yet not get out of school mode.

I won't be working full-time, but I have other work obligations and two young children at home. I'm curious as to how the semesters will be also..

I will have AP1,AP2, and Growth & Development to transfer; however, I'm not sure if I'm transferring Growth & Development yet..I am 25.

That is good. Your load will be lighter. A&P are huge to have out of the way. You will be fine. I am just curious to see the age demographic of our class. Thought I may be the only "older" one:)
