Hey Guys! I'm just wondering if anyone else has applied to the 2018 UPMC Hamot/Gannon CRNA MSN program that starts in January?! I haven't seen much information or personal experiences regarding the program and the interview/application process so was interested to see if anyone else has any good info! Fingers are crossed for an interview and am excited to chat with other perspective students!!
I had applied to Pitt as well but I wasn't offered an interview due to my GRE score. I was 4 pts shy of their minimum requirements . I was unable to determine exactly what Hamot was looking for in a score beyond "satisfactory" but Pitt had actually defined min acceptable scores for the verbal, quant, and writing.
I live in AZ so I have also considered applying to Midwestern and University of Arizona.
What a bummer! School is definitely competitive and the process is brutal. My stats are GPA 3.69, GRE 305, 6 years as RN, 3 years trauma ICU, CCRN, TCRN, ACLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS instructor, BLS intructor, PALS instructor, unit based council leader, Charge RN. Anyone care to share their Stats?
Hamot is my first choice but if I don't get in I'm likely going to apply to university at buffalo this fall. I have 2 years neuro icu, one yr at a major stroke center and one year at a level 1 trauma center, ccrn, 311 GRE, 3.72 Gpa, belong to a couple unit committees, and all the other min requirements
