just wanted to start a thread for people applying for the upenn MSN program. I applied for one of the pediatric acute sub specialities and am definitely anxiously waiting! good luck to everyone!

hey! they do have a fall start option for PMHNP but the only option is for part-time study, it's kinda weird haha. I think it is pretty competitive but I am not sure of the statistics for admissions. I don't know about the minor situation specifically for PMHNP but their website lists "adult oncology specialist" as a MSN minor option so maybe!!

Thanks! I received an email from the program director. On my portal, it still just says “materials received” so maybe they don’t update that part?

Hi! I just wanted to update - I had my interview and actually found out about my acceptance today for full time peds! Hopefully they’ll work through full time & then get to part time?

hey!! so I went to one of the webinars recently and I asked like 3 different staff members and they FINALLY revealed that pretty much admission is not rolling until after the part-time fall deadline (March 15th), which would've been amazing to know earlier cuz I've been checking the portal constantly since August LOL, but hopefully we will hear something soon!!

Hi!! I'm not sure if you still check this forum but I just got an email about an interview next week! I am so nervous and was wondering - how was the interview for you? did they ask super complicated questions? if you could give me any advice I would be so grateful haha. I hope you've been well!!

hi!! ah yay - congratulations! my interview was very relaxed, just one on one with the program director. I got a lot of info about the program and there weren't any surprise questions - mostly just basic stuff/why penn/etc! you'll do great - good luck!

thank you so much!!! OMG that is so reassuring, thank you for telling me that. My Zoom is in 6 days so I am praying I can keep it together and stay calm till then hahaha. ❤️

How does the interview invite work? Have they started interviewing for the part-time application?
