Upenn Bsn/mns

Published

Hello,

I am a second degree student trying to get into the UPENN's HIGHLY COMPETITIVE acclerated BSN/MNS program ( Nurse Anesthetist program). Would taking my pre-reqs courses at HACC hurt my application ? I called enrollement management at UPENN and they say it's ok to take them at a community college, however on the website it says that it is recommended to take ALL pre-reqs at a 4 year institution. Thus i am confused , I want to increase my chances of getting into UPENN but i also have my finance to worry about.Nonetheless i am prepared to do what ever it takes Please help!!! Let me know what you guys think.:bluecry1::crying2::cry:

I would take the affordable nursing classes and channel effort in to writing an awesome personal statement instead. I honestly don't know if it effects your application much or at all, but it seems like UPenn is all about looking at the complete picture.

I emailed admissions and they actually had a list of course equivalencies for my community college, so it can't be completely unacceptable.

I've also applied to PENNs Second Degree Program. I have taken most of my PRE-REQs at CCP. From what I have been told; it doesn't seem to be a strike against you. You should be fine. I interview with PENN on November 19th. Have you interviewed yet?
