Hello all! I am a nursing student entering my 4th semester. I applied for an extern position at my favorite hospital and just found out that I passed the first round of interviews. I now have a final interview on the neuroscience unit which was my first choice!! I am very excited and nervous. I do not want to blow this opportunity as neuro is my favorite subject and I want so much to work as a neuro nurse one day. Does anyone have any tips for my interview such as what type of information I should be familiar with, or what type of questions they may ask? What would you look for in an extern on your floor?
Thank you in advance!

What is it that appeals to you about neuro nursing. It is okay to disclose something about a friend or family member if you have something that you would like to share.
Read their mission statement. Look up their strategic plan and Leapfrog score. Refer to some part of these items briefly, when they ask why you applied to their facility.
Smile, thank them say it was very nice to meet all of you.
The questions will be simplistic.
