This is a forum created for students applying to UNLV SON for the summer cohort of 2017.

Is it just me or this board is awfully quiet? :(

My signing session is on Feb 2nd and my points are 92.06. I am scared, I hope I have enough. :(

I have my signing session next week. 92.06 is a great score, I feel ya though I'm scared too how competitive the program has been getting the past semesters. Hopefully the summer cut off will be similar to spring's cut off :)

Hey everyone,

so signing sessions are quick and brief. You just need to fill out some paper work. Also for all those who get accepted this summer, we don't need to wait until December to graduate. Instead the nursing school holds a seperate ceremony in August (:

Is it just me or this board is awfully quiet? :(

I am hoping this means not many people are applying. lol I check this everyday to see if there is any activity. It is unusually quiet compared to the forums from the past cohorts.

My signing session was on Feb. 3rd. There were only 7 people there when I applied (4 girls and 3 guys). The cut off for spring was 91.10 points. Hopefully, the cut off will be even lower this time. :)

I'm so late, but I finally took my HESI! I will be applying with a 96.69 and my signing session is on the 23rd :)

This thread is so quiet, I wonder if everyone else is still taking their HESI or there just aren't many people applying this semester?

I'm not sure if it's not many people applying this semester that's why it's so quiet or many just don't want to post until calls go out lol. I had my signing session yesterday and there was 13 of us. How many people were in yours on Feb. 2nd Medulla_oblongata?

You're probably right! Everyone is just most likely waiting for calls to go out. They'll probably start calling between the 2nd-6th of March. They called really early last summer, which was on the 2nd. In 2013-2015, they called on the 5th/6th. :cat:

There was less than 10 people there. Probably around 7 or 8.

I heard they let us know if we are in starting March 1st? Is that right? Nerves are kinda getting to me with all this waiting.

Hi everyone! This is my second time applying and I've applied with a 93.7. They say they start calling march 1st. However, from my understanding they have always started the calls on a Thursday. So maybe tomorrow, hopefully?
