UNLV SON Summer 2014

Is anyone else planning on applying to UNLV SON for the summer 2014 start?

My guess is around 20. Here's my awful math breakdown. There are about 20 people participating on this board with 4 accepted so far. So if there are roughly 100 applicants and 20% are represented here then that totals approx 20 acceptance calls.

If they've already called 40 people and still haven't gotten to you yet and you have 94.something points.. Well then it feels like the cut off will be insanely high this semester.

I would guess even lower (than 20 called). I would be willing to bet the people that have the highest scores are represented on this thread. I say that only because they were probably the ones reading every bit of material they could find regarding the nursing programs in the area and what it would take to be accepted. I'm sure I'm not the only one who read the previous UNLV threads prior to applying to the SON. I still think the cutoff will be comparable to the previous two semesters.

I like the way you think Lou. You're right, the top students are most likely here because high achievers do their homework and would have stumbled across this and prior forums.

Thanks Lou, that really calmed my nerves! I feel like there's still hope now lol. And that's very true, we are all very persistent and I know I for sure stalked the forums for about two semesters before applying lol!

OK I'm as nervous as everyone else right now but there has to be a method to the madnes... I bet Elena is call#1 tomorrow!! Good thoughts for everyone!!

Thanks for the support guys. Lol my phone was stolen tonight too.. literally minutes after my last post. I'm just happy it happened after 5 so I didn't miss any calls. One of those frustrating days!
