UNLV SON Summer 2014

Is anyone else planning on applying to UNLV SON for the summer 2014 start?

I think his board name was jacobadsit. We all replied to him because we were wondering what he had as far as points, he had 87 and he said the cut off was like 90. Idk,my friend didn't know the exact admission process, only the basic, like point calculation and call backs

Lol I honestly thought the process was simple, like grab the top 48, then too bad for the rest

He was one of the first people called, he was actually one of the first to post he was called lol

I wish it was that simple, but the program has gotten super competitive. I wish I would decided on nursing earlier, like before the summer of 2013 when the cutoff were like mid 80s and people with like 84 pts getting in lol..those days are long gone lol

You never know, those days might come back, I think a lot of people end up leaving prenursing, because it is so difficult to get in. When I took nurs 299 there were five of us and three decided to switch majors

Maybe, but it's depressing how hard it is to get into the program now but it's cool...things happen for a reason.

Have faith and don't give up , I understand that it's hard, especially because it feels like your plans and future are on hold :)

So I calculated that guy who got accepted to the fall with only 87 pts, well he definitely calculated wrong, I calculated his grades that he posted, he had 91 pts..not 87 lol

Wow,, Brian I don't personally know you, but man you got to relax lol there is nothing more to do at this point, don't torture yourself like that lol. Trust me I've been there. This is like my third time applying.
