Hey emmmgrace I thought I saw on the spring 2014 page that u got in not to be nosey lol I was just going through that thread to try to see the pts average... Well if not good luck I'm sure you'll get it this time![/quote']I ended up getting in a week after they called because one person dropped out!! Talk about close call!!
Congrats Emmmgrace! That is so exciting. I just took my HESI and did pretty good I'm borderline with roughly 90 pts on my final app, so I am definitely going to retake it, I am hoping to have a total of 92 or more pts when I apply to avoid any added stressing lol. I find it a little weird that hardly anyone has responded to this page..... the other threads have been packed!! hopefully less applicants!
I'm also applying to the SON for Summer '14. I think my average is around a 93-94 the last time I calculated it. Hopefully I don't get any unexpected surprises. Signing session is on February 7th.
The only thing - I was speaking with -------------- in the advising center about my HESI A2 score and I'm a little hesitant on a certain issue. My overall scores are 92, 94, 96, and 98 for Reading Comp, Grammar, A&P, and Math, respectively. However, within Reading Comprehension I have a 67% for the Conclusions subsection. I know we need to have 75% within each section to be considered for the SON, but ----------------- actually told me that this should be OK since it's only a subsection and not one of the four major sections required. I'm just wondering - has anyone here heard of students not being accepted for a subsection not being >75%?
She told me that I should be fine. I'm a big believer in "trust, but verify." Any help? I don't want to have to take the HESI A2 over again if I don't need to, haha.

Is anyone else planning on applying to UNLV SON for the summer 2014 start?
