U.S.A. Washington

Anyone applying to the UW SoN for fall 2013? Anyone else FREAKING OUT about it like I am?

I have not received my acceptance to UW general admission yet, I'm a transfer student. Have any of you received yours yet? Last year, they had already gone out by this time.

Thanks!

I haven't received my acceptance letter either. I am a postbac student and the admissions website said that notifications will be sent out between May-June. That is also the timeframe listed for transfer students. But, you're absolutely correct, Active-thinker, that acceptance letters went out around this time last year. I am very anxious because my plans are to begin in summer quarter and I see the classes are beginning to fill up.

Please keep us posted when you get your acceptance letter, and I will do the same.

Thanks!!!

Thanks, will do. I can imagine if I was a nail biter, I would be down to nubs only after all this waiting.

LOL

Seriously! LOL Are you planning on starting in the summer, Active-thinker?

No, because I can't afford to pay for it out of pocket and I have kids and wanted to spend some quality time with them before I start school again.

I received my acceptance letter a while ago. I also received my summer acceptance in a matter of days. However... I'm a returning student, so everything went fairly smoothly.

intelligentqueen1 did you send your summer application already? that one shouldn't take too long... I see students are already enrolling. I'm one of them. I hope to meet you this summer :) :)

I know no one is reading this thread anymore... But I got into one of the cc ADN programs around here. So I'll get my BSN at UW soon enough :)

Congratulations hudabelle! :D

Hi YoungIdealist! I did send in my summer application, but haven't heard anything yet. I have my add code for NCLIN 302, so I'm just waiting to become officially a UW student, I guess.

I do know that returning student have priority as far as enrollment. But, in speaking with a friend who is currently in the program who came is as a postbac, she had received her acceptance letter in April of last year. But, the admissions website did state that notifications would go out between May-June. So, I guess I will continue to patiently wait. But, I must admit the anticipation is killing me!!! LOL

I hope to meet you this summer as well. What section are you enrolled in for NCLIN 302?

I totally get it. I have a little girl and I have been trying to spend all the time I can with her before school starts. Especially these past few days with the gorgeous weather we've been having. My thought process with starting in the summer is to alleviate some of the workload in Autumn by taking NCLIN 302. I am single mom and it will be a big sacrifice having to pay for it, but I think it will be beneficial for my daughter and I as far as having more time for her.

Under any circumstance, I hope to meet you in the fall! :o)

I'm in section BB, what about you?

I am in section BA, which appears to be at the same time and location as BB. But, there are two different TAs for each section. I wonder how that works?
