Hi everyone! I didn't see a post for people applying to Tulsa's CRNA program for 2024 start, so I figured I would start one. I figured whoever wanted to could share their experience, stats, interview dates, etc.
As for me, I have a little over 3 years experience, 1 year and 8 months in Med/Surg ICU, after that I transitioned to CTICU and have been here for 1 year and 7 months. I have my CCRN and CSC, science GPA is around 3.5, cumulative GPA is around 3.8. I also have been a preceptor and charge nurse in my unit.
Good luck to everyone!! I look forward to chatting with you all!

The written portion made you nervous?

I got an email with a new interview time and was still told to show up no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled time. My original interview time was 10 am but was rescheduled for 11 am due to them needing more time with each candidate.
Initial email said to show up like an hour before the interview time. Then I've gotten two more emails changing interview time. Are you guys going with showing up no earlier than 10 minutes before instead of the hour before they initially said? Didn't know when we would be doing the tour and assessments.

Yes. Show up 10-15 minutes early. Some students will give you a tour, then you will do your written assessment. Once that is done, one faculty member that will be in the interview will come take you to the interview.

How did you feel about the written section and was the panel more EI or clinical

The written section wasn't that bad at all. I, as well as other people I know that interviewed at TU, was only asked 4 clinical questions related to my specialty. The rest of the questions were all EI.
