University of Toronto (U of T) Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing NP 2021

Hi everyone!

I have applied to the NP Program at U of T Bloomberg for 2021, paediatric specialty. My file currently says "under review" and all my documents are received. I'm wondering if anyone has received an offer of admission yet? How long did it take to hear of a decision once you were under review? Thanks!!

Thanks! No I'm doing full time masters and NP primary care stream combined. I plan to work part time and I have a 2 year old who is high energy.. Hope this goes OK!

Haha, a high energy kid. I can’t imagine how I can study full time, work part time and take care of a kid. But I know you’ll do great! All the best! ?

Hey, did u say you got rejected at Ryerson but got accepted at U of T? Congrats!!

Hey, I never got any interview offer. I just got the offer directly. And I applied for the Post Masters NP Adult stream! Goodluck on yours!

Hahah thank you! Hopefully we get to be classmates ? praying hard you all don't have to wait anymore! Which stream did you apply to?

Yea I was rejected from Ryerson I got my letter a few weeks back! I also applied to York and haven't heard anything but I'm grateful for one offer! Congrats to you on getting in! Hopefully we get to meet in person one day!

Wow that is very frustrating but good to know for sure thank you for reaching out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and letting us know what’s going on. Hopefully by Mid means decision will start going out the first week at least! We’ve all waited this long, we can do 2ish more weeks!

My account still says under review but I have a colleague who received a rejection on Saturday May 1st.

Yes I also know someone who received a rejection on Saturday. I’m disappointed that they didn’t get into the program but I’m hoping that it’s a good sign that I’m still being considered?

Me too! I feel badly for them and wish them the best of of course selfishly I wonder what it means for me (and the rest of us on here)!

Ohh thanks for letting me know! I still under review, typically U of T sends rejections followed by acceptances so hoping we all hear good news maybe this week...

Oh interesting! Especially on a Saturday. Did they receive an email with the rejection? And did their status on their portal change to something other than under review? 
 

mine still says under review and I haven’t received any emails ??????
 

Shouldn’t be long now to find out either way!

I know! I guess it was the day after the deadline closed. 
Yes, it was similar to other people saying a decision was made with the rejection letter in the portal. 
Fingers crossed we hear soon!
