university of texas rn-bsn

If you are contemplating UTA for the RN-BSN, please do not do this. The price is right, but the courses that they will have you take will break your bones and take you forever to complete, yes...even if you have another BA/BSN. The algebra course alone will suck the life out of you and make the entire program un-doable. Please trust me on this one, it's an excellent program overall, and I am sure a very good school but it's NOT worth it.

Specializes in Labor and Delivery.

Are you still in pre-requisites? I'm sorry that you haven't enjoyed your experience, but with all due respect, how does difficulty in an algebra course correlate with the whole nursing program being "un-doable"?

Wishing you the best of luck either way.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.
