University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) ABSN Summer 25

Hello out there! I was wondering if there are any other aspiring nursing students who have applied for the May 2025 ABSN at UT Health San Antonio this year. Wondering how many of us are out here and any info you guys may have on when we might hear back about decisions. This is the only school I applied for (nursing program requirements are so crazy!) So I'm hoping I get a spot here. Anyone know if there is also an ABSN program in the fall? When I called admissions last Summer they said they only had one ABSN cohort for 2025 starting  in May, but the school's instagram page said something about Fall 25 ABSN applications being opened last November 🤷‍♀️ 

IDK if ya'll feel the same way, it seems like their website is kinda lacking when it comes to in depth information.

Hi! I also applied for Summer semester! I got an email today wanting to confirm if I will graduate with a bachelors before the program start. Not sure if that means anything but we will see!! I applied to a few other programs too and am still working on apps! Hopefully it all works out!

Hi!  I also applied to the ABSN program for May 2025.  I called them a few weeks ago when I turned in my application and the admissions advisor told me that we should be hearing back from them in early February.  I've also read some of the previous years' program threads and they all seem to have found out whether they were accepted or not in early February.  

I've never seen that they offer a Fall program; I was under the impression that they only have one program cohort each year that begins in May.  
 

I am in the process of applying to two other programs that start later in the Fall.

Hopefully we'll hear back from them soon!

I applied for Summer 2025 as well and am so excited! I am surprised there is no portal to track our application and I hope all materials have been received from my end!

Did anyone receive confirmation aside from the NursingCAS one?

What I've gathered from previous year discussions is that they notify via email. My best guess is that they use nursingCAS only for processing  applications but not for communicating back to applicants 🤷‍♀️

Hi! So happy to have found this thread.. I also applied for the Summer 2025 cohort, and it was the only program I applied to. Now just patiently waiting to hear back 😅

Oh yay! I really hope we hear by early February as you say. I also applied to another program that starts in may and a few that begin in fall. I hope we all get in, wishing y'all good luck and blessings!

Hey y'all! I applied as well. I also applied to Texas A&M round rock. What other programs did yall apply for? UT Health SA is my number 1 choice hopefully I get in 🤞

Hey guys! I was just wondering if by any chance y'all have received any emails from UT Health since submitting? Im a little nervous not knowing the email address the decisions are coming from 😅

I haven't heard from them, but I'm sure you will know when you receive an email from them. 
 

Also, it is still early in the process. I'd say mid Feb based on last year.

hi everyone, I applied back in october and have also been dying to hear back! last I heard of them was in december, they were going through my transcripts and had a few questions about my courses. I've been so anxious since then!! hopefully we all hear back in the next 2 weeks 🤠 

also, did anyone apply and already hear back from other schools? I already heard back from one other one, but I only have until February 14 to accept the offer. wondering if anyone else has been put in that position too.
