Hello!
I have just been accepted to the Family Nurse Practitioner program at UT for the summer of 2018. I 'm really excited, and nervous of course. I haven't seen a lot of information about the program on this site, and I don't know anyone who had been in the program either. I was just wondering what experiences, both positive and negative, past students had with this program. Also, did you work part time or full time. Lastly, what was class like and clinical placements?

I applied to the UT for the fall 2018 semester, waiting to hear back! Were you able to find anything else out about the program from other students? Good luck!
Hey, sorry I don't get on here much. I actually just started at UT and love the program so far. Most semesters you will take 2 classes with the exception of one semester where you will take 1. I was told by an advisor that most students work full time at first then switch to part time once clinicals begin.
Thank you for the insight, I was accepted and start classes in August! I'm super excited and a little nervous!
Don't be you'll do great! I was nervous about jumping back into school again, especially at the masters level. It is a lot of work, but doable. The professors are amazing!
