Hey everyone!

Couldn't locate a thread for the program, so I've started one here for questions, updates, networking, etc. Wishing us all good luck! 🤞

Hi guys! I just applied but I was reviewing the course requirements and I just needed some clarification. I took a combined general, organic, biochemistry course in nursing school. The requirements say "Chemistry: 2 (TWO) semesters. One semester of general (inorganic) chemistry and one semester of either biochemistry (preferred) or organic chemistry. Combined courses are acceptable, but TWO semesters are required. No lab required"

So basically I need to take one semester of general/inorganic chemistry for sure... but do I need to take another biochem or o-chem course?

Thanks! There's so many course requirements at this school and it gets confusing at times.

Hi! Does anyone know what the interview dates will be this year?

Hey there! When I submitted my application, I received an email from one of the administrators that included the dates of the interviews.

From my understanding, they require two semesters of chemistry. In their FAQ it says something like one semester of general chemistry and one semester of o chem, inorganic chem or bio chem. I believe it says they  prefer bio chem. When you applied, did you receive a response regarding your chemistry? Good luck!

Gotcha, I didn't receive that email for some reason, would you mind sharing the dates?

Hi! I believe in total it should be two semesters of chemistry as well. In the application I put "In progress" for general/inorganic and then I entered the my combined general/organic/biochemistry class in the "biochemistry" section of the application and then in the "chemistry" section I just put "see biochem". I got a response right away and they only asked me when I was going to finish my general/inorganic class.

does anyone know how the interview format will be this year?

Historically when do they send out emails notifying you if you get an interview or not? Anyone know?

According to the administrator who followed up with me and reviewed my application: "Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to interview in October.” So we should be hearing back very soon!

I've gone through previous threads from other years. Looks like people started posting about receiving interviews around Oct. 27!

Did you guys also just get an email from Loida that notified you whether or not you are eligible to get your CRNA license in CA? 🧐
