University of South Alabama - Fall 2022 FNP Admissions

Published

Hi all, just finished submitting my application to start in Fall 2022. I've heard that acceptance takes 6 weeks from the deadline. Would love to connect with anyone else playing the waiting game.

I emailed the school last week as I applied for the FNP/AACNP track and the extended deadline keeps being pushed out… supposedly letters/emails go out today or tomorrow for this track. The process for applying and even the contents of the application seem a little slim which makes me second guess this program a little bit. Has anyone heard positive/negative reviews about their FNP programs?

Thanks for the info! Currently waiting to hear back for the same track. I’ve heard mix reviews honestly … but I guess that’s what comes with the price? I’ve heard the same mix reviews regarding other universities too.

I submitted my application like the last day before the original extended deadline and I still haven’t heard anything. Like I genuinely was like wow I got ghosted. I just am slightly frustrated because it’s over halfway through June and classes would start in like August or September and I still don’t know if I’m starting school.

I submitted right before the prior deadline as well. I hadn’t heard anything from them except my confirmation email after I submitted the application.  That’s why I reached out to them about when we would be getting notifications when I saw they extended the deadline again! I am assuming they forgot today is a federal holiday when they told me last week that notifications would be sent out Monday or Tuesday of this week! Fingers crossed we hear something tomorrow. This whole process has been a little odd to say the least.

I’m trying to read through everything and it’s so all over the place LOL - any clue when everything is due by?? I don’t see the deadlines that are supposedly listed.

Hey all - decided to make a facebook (yah I’m a dork) to have a central place for USA NP  (AGAC/FNP) students. There was only one I could find and it has 2K+ people in it for all MSN/DNP students and I did see one for PMHNP. If interested the links below! Excited to “work” with you all!

I am not sure of the deadlines either. On castlebranch the section they gave us was for Summer so that due date is obviously incorrect. I was just kind of going with on or before July 7th since we are supposed to receive our school login by that time. I looked at the general grad school dates for registration but everything opened in April for classes. Hopefully they’ll send an email with a timeline eventually! The disorganization is giving me nursing school flashbacks so hopefully it gets better ?

I applied for Fall 2022 MSN PMHNP track at the end of June. I'm waiting on a decision. Does everyone receive an email or only those who are accepted?

Congrats all! I got mine today for FNP/ENP. Now I’m just desperate for info on what I need to start getting done, ie. arranging clinicals and such.

I just got accepted for Spring. How is it so far?
