Hi just created this thread to see if anyone else applied for USA DNP program. I didn't see one created so I figured I would start it.

There's at least a million of these posts created for this cohort. Lol :) a lot of people on here are going.

Oh I see. Well I created this one for this years fall admissions. I would find it very hard to believe people have been accepted considering the deadline was just a couple weeks ago. I'm not accepted yet, I have applied. Thanks.

Ok the CON emailed me back. I had to update my application with something. I was told that it was placed in my file, for when they review everything. Made me think it's going to be quite a while until we hear something about decisions. Summer 2015 haven't been notified yet either. And we are fall.

Hello everyone. I also applied for the Fall 2015 BSN-DNP program for FNP. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I am an ICU nurse. Good luck to all!! I would love to all connect and network with each other once we hopefully all get in to help each other out.

I applied to the dual role emergency np program. I received an email today stating we would have decision letters by May 1. Apparently they had over 500 applications! Good luck everyone!

I got the email as well. My heart sank. My GPA is 3.44 NursingCAS calculated it a bit lower. I have 10 years experience as an RN, and 5 plus Emergency Department Behavioral Health Experience. I wrote a 7 page goal statement. If I dont get in - i will be kind of annoyed. I will keep applying I guess. But the number of applicants was disheartening.

I received and email from the financial aid office that contained a student ID number and password. The email said "You have outstanding requirements that will prevent the awarding and/or disbursement of your financial aid." It also said my academic status was clear for Fall 2015. I know the email from the DNP program said we would not find out until around May 1, but why would financial aid send me an email with this information if I haven't been accepted?? Has anyone else received an email from the financial aid department?
