University of Scranton - Fall 2024

Hi! Just posting this because I haven't seen anyone mention applying this fall to the University of Scranton for 2025 admission. Anyone out there?!

Funny you asked, I called admissions today, and he said no one has had an invite yet, as the director just got back from vacation today. Hopefully within 2 weeks?

I got a call for an interview (mid-October), they may reaching out to folks in waves like they've done in the past

When did you submit? I wondering if there going by submission or maybe alphabetical order?

I submitted two weeks before the deadline so my guess would be alphabetical (I'm at the top of the alphabet)

Mine are 1.5 years of ICU experience, 3.8 BSN, 3.9 science, CCRN

I have 3 years of ICU experience (5yrs nursing experience total), a total cumulative GPA of ~3.3 and science GPA around 3.5 from both my previous degree and my ABSN (3.95 from that). Also have my CCRN and a 319 GRE score (156V/163Q/5.0 writing) which isn't required but I've been submitting it anyway since I took it for another program.

2.5 years ICU

BS is 3.0

BSN 3.7

CCRN

for science GPA, I recall they wanted chemistry, I submitted orgo and thats a 4.0, if they calculate all my sciences without averaging the retakes its probably 3.2- ish

retook 3 sciences
