Starting a forum for folks applying to USF's MSN program for Spring 2026 start, San Francisco campus.
It would be great to hear from current students in this program about their experience, advice, and honest review of the program, and from any recent graduates of USF's MSN program about their job search/prospects.Â
Any input from current/recent students and questions that other prospective students have would be great to hear!

A bit about me - I'm applying to nursing school ~10 years after getting a non-nursing Bachelor's, with work experience primarily in clinical research, public health research, and a Masters in Public Health. I intend to get an NP certification after getting bedside experience for a few years. I grew up and live in San Francisco, and want to work here, so I want to go to school here (ideally USF or SFSU).Â

Yesss maybe we can speak with financial aid. I also found this page https://www.usfca.edu/nursing/programs/graduate/masters/financing-your-education

Hi I was able to consult a current student and they said the first semester will be challenging just because you are thrown all of the fundamentals and getting used to nursing school.

Did they happen to mention what the schedule looks like, such as the number of days with lectures, labs, and clinicals per week?

Is there any chance you'd be able to put me in contact with the student you spoke with? I'd love to hear more about what the first couple weeks are like!Â
