Hello, everyone!
This is a thread for the USF BSN Transfer program Spring 2022 admissions. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to USF by the November 1st, 2021 deadline.
Good luck to everyone!

Hi!
thank you for creating this thread! I did not apply yet, but I am thinking about it. I have a science class in progress and I don't have all the core classes, I am missing 3 I think. Not sure if I should apply because of those missing classes. The counselor said they might use some classes from my previous degree.
do you mind sharing your stats?
mine: GPA 4.0 (Microbiology in progress)
bilingual
160 hours of volunteering
Does anyone know someone that applied with classes in progress or is missing core classes?
Thank you!

Hi ANunes,
It would be fine if you still have a class in progress, they will issue a conditional acceptance letter based on the information on the website.
My stats: 3.94 in cumulative, 4.0 in science

Wow, I'm happy to hear that all of you have very high grades and ratings, though it is a little bit discouraging. Here are my stats:
cum GPA: 3.6, 4.0 science
underserved community: 81.5 hr
Healthcare experience: ~500 hrs

I don't think they look only for the grades. Healthcare experience counts a lot too.
Do you guys know anything about the program? It is very expensive...

It takes at least three years to complete the clinical courses ( exclude the missing GE courses), I heard from a former student. It is true that it is very expensive, and it will cost around 150k after the completion of the program for us as a transfer student...

Do you know if this former student thinks it was worth it?
Are you guys applying to other programs too?
yeah, im applying to other programs too but it is honestly really hard to keep your hopes up because of how competitive it is.

I get it! I haven't taken the TEAS yet, I am only applying to USF and Dominican. I will be only able to take the TEAS next year. I know it is very competitive which makes this process so stressful.

Hopefully, we'll see each other there! Praying for both us to get accepted. I'm sure you'll do great on the TEAS!

I know that she got a job in the bay area, however, she did warn me about the loan which she is still paying for:(
I only applied for four programs, I hope that I can get into my dream school.
