Hi! I did not see a thread for the Accelerated ABSN program and thought I would start one! I hope we can chat about the app, our stats and stick together through interviews and anxiety and all successfully share our acceptance!!

Does anyone know when the program starts ?

The website says classes begin January 10th with an orientation the week prior.  Congratulations!

Has anyone yet to receive a decision?

Also accepted :)

congratulations everyone for getting accepted and best of luck

Same here!! Haha how can we connect on FB with everyone instead of on this forum?

I don't have a fb, is there any other way of connecting? I might drop my email then edit it later LOL

Does anyones admission letter say it is contingent on proving adequate completion of certain courses even thought transcripts were sent in with the prereqs during the application process?

did any one create a fb group, or any other group for accepted/waitlisted. I will definitely be looking for places to stay and will be looking for roommates and a group will definitely make that easier.

I don’t think anyone has I was looking but I didn’t see one. Haha I’m moving from California so I’m pretty nervous and would love to connect with all of you!!

Y’all I’m coming from VA and this whole housing situation is about to give me a stroke. Does anyone have any tips on how to afford it or the program ? Of course loans or scholarships but like an specifics ?

I've been in rochester for the past four years so definitely feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm also a little stressed about how to afford everything given that most people say it's not ideal/ you won't have time to work while in the program.

Yeah I was gonna see about the whole working thing just to have emergency money.. even if it’s like per diem. Have you looked into any possible solutions ? I’m waiting to hear back from FAFSA too
