Hi! I did not see a thread for the Accelerated ABSN program and thought I would start one! I hope we can chat about the app, our stats and stick together through interviews and anxiety and all successfully share our acceptance!!

hey

that's awesome, wish you luck. can you please tell me anything out of box that they may have asked you. or if you would like to share what did they ask. thank you ?

Hey it was questions like why U of R? Why nursing? Tell me about yourself? Looked at resume.

OK, thankyou for responding. I will update after my interview.

Does anyone know when acceptance letters are going out?

They said that we'd find out at the end of September, 8 weeks from the August 1 deadline. I have my interview scheduled for tomorrow, any tips will be really helpful!

I would say best tips are be yourself and practice your talking points but don’t memorize! You don’t want to sound reheorificed. I tried to incorporate a lot of anecdotes from my personal experiences to showcase who I am and how I handle different situations. Good luck tomorrow!!

hey! I think everybody's interview is different, depends on who your interviewer is. but I would like to give you an idea about what possibly could they ask you. other than typical nursing school questions like, why nursing why this school etc, my interviewer asked me situational based questions too. like the time I showed sympathy to an individual or group, the time I can go back and behave differently if given the same situation, the time I promoted diversity. I hope this help, good luck for your interview. and yes they said they would let us know end of September.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone started hearing admissions decisions yet.

I have not really heard anything. Just emails about everyone needing to have proof of vaccination.

I also haven’t heard anything other than covid policies regarding vaccinations and masks!

I only got one email about this- hope that's not a bad thing haha.

I have started to feel nervous now and checking my email constantly. fingers crossed
