University of Rochester ABPNN Fall 2016

Hey everyone! So I have stalked the death out of this site looking for a UR ABPNN Fall 2016 forum but I could not for the life of me so I've been referring back to older forums. I just scheduled my interview for this Tuesday at 8AM and I could not be any happier. :) My stats are as follows:

3.72 overall GPA

3.8 in prerequisites (finishing up Developmental Psych/Nutrition so that'll bump it up)

Graduating with a BA in Criminal Justice and minoring in Health Education

Coming from CA

Two years as an Resident Assistant

Two years as a sexual health educator

One year as VP of our Criminal Justice Student Association

One year volunteering in the critical care unit

I also applied to NYU! So curious to everyone else's stats and I look forward to hearing back! If anyone has any pointers for each other then that'd be great. Good luck everyone!

I applied to both UR and NYU so far as well! S/o from CA! I set up my interview for next Thursday! Can you update us what the interview questions are?! I stalked some older threads but I want to be up to date!

Your stats look great. Mine are terrible, but I believe that I'm still a competitive candidate with potential to be a good nurse coming from a really good university...! Haha! Cheers to both of us!

Yay! More people! And thanks, I'm sure you'll do fine. :D My interview was very basic - why do you want to be a nurse? She gave me the description of the program before anything then left it up for me to ask her anything. Pretty easygoing, but there's four of them doing interviews so that was just her. We'll find out in June!
