Hey all,

Let's watch this UPMC Hamot/Gannon University application process together!

Notes: There isn't a lot of info out there on this program. I don't see any previous threads on allnurses about applying here.

Post if you find out anything to share! Good luck to us all!

Assuming there are 10 groups and there are about 3 people in each group (which seems to be the case from the emails) I’d estimate maybe 30 or so people… At least today. I don’t know if they’re interviewing other days.

True, I assume they are interviewing for at least 2-3 days at minimum.

Hi all! I've been asked to interview for the 2024 cohort:) Without compromising the interview could anyone from last year explain what to expect for the interview process? It's in person. Thanks!

Mix of clinical and emotional intelligence. You cycle through like 5 different rooms and there's 2 people in each that ask you questions. When you're not interviewing, there's a room the current students hang out with you in. There's also a tour. Good luck.

Hello, I am currently in the program (first DNP cohort).

Hello! I applied to for 2025 start. I'm excited and nervous, because I really like this program from the things I have read. Do you have any insight on what the admission committee looking for in applicants, besides what is required?

hello,

I know this post is a couple years old, but I submitted my app last week. I'm very excited and nervous about the whole thing. I really want to attend UPMC. Do you all have any insight or tips that could help an applicant stand out?
