Published

Has anyone recently completed or currently enrolled in the lpn to bsn program at uop, if so what has been your experience? How are the clinicals/classes setup. How is the tutiton? My employer has a direct bill with the school to provide a discount of 7% i'm looking to speak with an advisor this week.....is it worth the time??? Please help!!!!

Specializes in LTC, Agency, HHC.

I finished July of '13. Went to class one night a week, clinicals 2-3 days a week. Cost depends on where you are.

It was the only way I could go back to school....what with working full time and 4 kids. It was challenging, at times really hard, but I did it.

Good luck!

I am not sure....I did all my science courses at a community college. Clinicals are done in the Denver area, a few in surrounding communities like Lafayette, but they give you choices and do the best they can to accommodate your choices. Skills labs are done on campus before your major classes like pediatrics, OB, etc.

Any discount is great, and if they still have a tuition freeze, go for it! What did your advisor say?
