Hi xoxok, you interview with a few of the board members individually. Each will ask their own set of 3-4 questions. Have examples of your personal or work experiences (research, volunteer, caretaking, etc.) ready to talk about. Yes the essay is still a part of the process. Best of luck!

Hi everyone,

I just received an email for an interview later this week!

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the interview questions. I heard there's an essay portion, does anyone know what they ask you to write about?

Congrats on being invited to interview! @allnurseSY answered this question for me above! When preparing for my interview I watched serval Youtube videos about the interviewing process and did mock interviews. Wishing you all of the best!

Thanks for getting back to me! My bad haha I didn't see that reply! I'll definitely watch some videos to prepare! Do you think you can tell me anything about the essay portion? What would I have to write about?

Hey, they give you an article to read and then a prompt where you have respond with 2-3 paragraphs. I believe you have an 1hr-1hr 30 min to complete it. It’s much more informal than the essay required for your application.

did anyone have to do a 5 questions situational judgment quiz? if you did, any advices? ?

Yes, if you interview you have to respond to an article with a short essay and then do the judgement quiz. I would say the quiz is not confusing and relies on common sense.
