University of the Pacific Nursing program Interview

Hi Everyone, 

I realized there is no post for university of the pacific new nursing program. I had an interview with them last week. If you had an interview or applied please reply.

Hi @Tib. I got the invitation exactly 2 weeks after everything was verified on NursingCas. I don't know how to feel about my interview LOL but there's a written portion and the interview with 2-3 members of the admissions team. It's pretty straightforward! Don't be nervous, you'll do fine!

I'm sure you did great too. I saw that it's a rolling admission so hopefully you all find out soon.

Does anyone know will the program be accredited by CCNE anytime soon? I'm applying for Spring 2024. And my interview is on this coming Thursday.

I seen some people already did the interview, what is the written portion is like? I mean what kind of the questions did they asked? Was it hard? I'm scared. This will be my first interview ?

Hi @Chocolatecake112, 

They give you an article and a prompt and you have about an hour to submit the essay. The interview portion was very conversational and the faculty I interviewed with were really nice. Don't stress, I am sure you do great!

I just had my interview last Thursday. Hopefully things went well and I can be considered for early admissions too. It would be hard to wait until regular admissions to know our status :(

I also interviewed June 29th when I applied for early application on June 17th and have heard nothing back yet.
